Mission: To achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information. **************** 2008-2009 BPW/INDIANA BOARD OF DIRECTORS AUGUST BOARD MEETING AUGUST 8-9, 2008 The August board meeting is planned to include the Executive Committee, District Directors and Assistant District Directors, Standing & Special Committee Chairs and Local Presidents. AUGUST 8 – Executive Committee Clarion Hotel Conference Center 2930 Waterfront Parkway West Dr., Indianapolis IN 6:30p.m.(eastern) Dinner will be provided AUGUST 9 – Board Meeting/DD & Committee Chairs meeting Speedway Library 2143 25th Street Speedway, IN 10:00a.m.(eastern) Lunch will be provided (cost to be announced) All Board members should indicate if you will/will not be attending the Board meeting and if you would like to make a lunch reservation. (Phone# 812-683-9642 Email-tlhanselman@insightbb.com )DEADLINE IS August 1, 2008 **HOTEL RESERVATIONS: You do not have to be an Executive Committee Member to have hotel arrangements made. We do receive a discount rate and if you stay the night, breakfast is provided. We will be happy to make reservations for anyone attending, however, you are responsible for any cost and/or cancellations. OBSERVERS: All members are welcome to attend Board Meetings as an observer. If you plan to attend as an observer, you must notify the State Officer and provide your e-mail address to print your own materials. If you would a set of materials pre-printed, there will be a fee of $10 for printing. Everyone has the right to speak to the issues, but only the Elected Officers, District Directors and Standing Committee chairs vote on any motions presented. LUNCH POLICY: If you will be eating lunch with us, please notify Melba Hanselman, Meetings Coordinator by August 1, 2008. This is necessary as we are having lunch catered and accurate headcounts must be made. Please be prepared to pay for lunch on Saturday August 9, 2008.
